A reiki master is a person who practices medicine with a holistic approach. This approach first began with the founder Dr. Miako Usui of Japan. He discovered in a mountain in Kyoto on March 1922. Reiki is a generic work in Japanese meaning to heal. The demand for reiki increased in Japan after the Kanto earthquake in 1923. Dr. Usui used reiki to help relieve people who suffered during it. The approach focuses on moving life energy to support a person’s healing process. The great thing about this practice is that anyone who wishes can become a reiki master. Reiki used in a number of ways to help alleviate stress in people’s lives, to relieve pain, digestive problems, depression, and other medical problems.
Reiki Master
To start this process one will need to find already practicing reiki master who is willing to teach someone else their knowledge. Most people who want to pass on their information will do it for a fee. The master will teach one to channel energy into the beginning stages, which is level 1) of becoming a practitioner that aligns their chakra. While this is happening the master will recite a certain mantra. The mantra will enhance the connection to the energy. Beginning with tune with the reiki energy usually takes two days to complete and involved self-development exercises.
Level 2, teaches how to channel reiki to a distance. This level teaches a practitioner to send the energy from a distance, which is useful when clients or loved ones are far away. The practitioner can sit in their office or home, relax, close their eyes, and send the energy using thought and hands to anyone in the world. Again, this level takes two days to master the principles of level 2. Mantras recited to help the student harness the reiki energy.
The next step is for the reiki master to help guide the practitioner through the first few times he or she channels the energy until they master it on their own. Once, the master feels they are ready they can open their own practice to help heal people or use it on their own friends or family. Do not be surprised if friends or family do not believe this process works at first. Just to explain to them how it works and invite them over or go to their house to perform reiki on them. Have them relax and just let them feel the energy enter their system. After a person has one session of reiki, they usually enjoy it and open to more experiences with it.
Reiki Master – The Conclusion
The third level and last level in reiki is to become a Reiki Master, which involve months of studying with a certified Reiki Master and learning the mantras. Upon completion of each level the student will receive a certificate of completion of the level. Once one becomes a master, they can teach other people to become reiki practitioners and masters as well to pass on the power of universal energy and healing.
